Louis Braille Poster Final

Date: Saturday 26 January 2018
Venue: North Beach (near old snake park)
Time: 2 – 4 PM

SANZAF’S Braille Awareness Programme commemorates the visually Impaired people, which use Braille as a form of written communication in various languages.

January is recognized as the month of Braille. In order to create an awareness SANZAF is hosting a Braille reading competition, extra curricula activities in the form of scrabble, dominos, chess and many others which stimulate the senses of the visually impaired.

We invite the community to join us for the programme taking place at Durban’s North Beach (near the old Snake Park) on Saturday 26 January 2018 at 14:00. This will enable you to have a better understanding of the challenges that visually impaired people experience to access information which we take for granted.
