On the 31st of March 2018, SANZAF started a " Road to Adulthood" Program for all the young girls between the ages of 10 to 19 years from all the Madressahs that are supported by SANZAF in Port Elizabeth.

The aim of this program is to basically teach girls about Cleanliness, Ghaid, Ghusl, Wudu, Sallah and Basic Cooking as we know some girls aren't fortunate enough to be taught about these things at home or at school.

We have four different groups of girls from different Madressahs and we hosted the first group which had 16 girls from from Booysenspark on the 31st of March, we're hosting the second group from Kwazakhele on 7th of April, 3rd group from Marikana on the 14th of April and the final group from both Motherwell and Seysi on the 21st of April 2018.

We have three facilitators named Latiefa Sain, Jawahir Vosloo and Fatima Mohammed, who voluntarily teach and ask for nothing in return. These three ladies who also happen to be sisters dedicated their time into teaching these girls about Wudhu, Cleanliness (Theory and Practical) and Cooking (Theory and Practical).
